I felt I had to do a piece on "Sex Slavery" after seeing a documentary on the subject. This is happening all around the world. The case I saw was happening in Europe where a fake employment agency is set up. When females come looking for a job, most of them poor single mothers, they are all lured to a back room where men with guns suddenly start loading them onto a ship and then quickly ship them off to other countries.
They are then sold off to pimps who drug them, beat them and in some cases, chain them to a bed where they are raped by many different clients all day long. Those who are mothers have children at home still waiting for their mother to come back from work and some usually end up starving. Pimps who have been caught only had to pay a small fine. Some girls who escaped and went to the police, were later taken back to the pimps because a lot of these policemen work for the pimps.

This is a 3 piece painting I did for a client. It's about the love between a man and woman which symbolizes the love between Jesus Christ and His Church. This shows the intimate place where two in love meet. A place of stillness, silence and rest...the secret place.
