I did this piece a while back. Cleaning up the streets is helpful, but if you want to get to the root of the problem, you got to do some in-house cleaning. The streets are a reflection of the corruption within. People speak out and even get evidence yet no one gets prosecuted.

Grad Show

Our graduating class from Bachelor of Applied Arts Illustration at Sheridan College had to put on an end of the year art show downtown. This event was April 24 & 25. It was great. We had a HUGE turn out.

"True Martyrs"

I was unsure which title to give this piece. It was between "Forgive Them" or "My All for Him". I've changed it to "True Martyrs". This always comes to mind when I look at this painting.

Sex Slavery

I felt I had to do a piece on "Sex Slavery" after seeing a documentary on the subject. This is happening all around the world. The case I saw was happening in Europe where a fake employment agency is set up. When females come looking for a job, most of them poor single mothers, they are all lured to a back room where men with guns suddenly start loading them onto a ship and then quickly ship them off to other countries.

They are then sold off to pimps who drug them, beat them and in some cases, chain them to a bed where they are raped by many different clients all day long. Those who are mothers have children at home still waiting for their mother to come back from work and some usually end up starving. Pimps who have been caught only had to pay a small fine. Some girls who escaped and went to the police, were later taken back to the pimps because a lot of these policemen work for the pimps.

Washing of Feet

JOHN 13: 1-17

This is a huge act that Jesus did that has a way deeper meaning than I thought. It is an unfair act in the sense that we don't deserve to have our feet washed by our God. All have sinned and are guilty of offenses against Jesus (ROMANS 3:23), but He still answers our cries, not with anger, but with pure love. He comes ready and excited to start a relationship with us without holding any grudges against us.

Behind the Veil

This is a 3 piece painting I did for a client. It's about the love between a man and woman which symbolizes the love between Jesus Christ and His Church. This shows the intimate place where two in love meet. A place of stillness, silence and rest...the secret place.
